Volunteer

The South Shore Children;s Museum is looking to grow our board and family of volunteers.  Our continued growth and success is going to depend on our leadership and foundation of support. Every successful museum has a strong board and committed volunteers. Our goal in this next phase of expansion is to build relationships with community leaders and small business owners who would like to help the SSCM in making important decisions, find funding sources, increase memberships and financial support and encourage volunteership.

If you or someone you know is interested in being on our board or volunteering on one of our committees, please email Juvy Hartweg, Museum Director at juvy@Southshorecm.org

The requirement for our board members is to attend monthly meetings, be on at least 2 fundraising committees and commit for a 2 year period. We look forward to having you join our SSCM Family.

What is Family Advisory Network’s (F.A.N.) Mission?

The Family Advisory Network's mission is to provide advocacy for the South Shore Children's Museum. In an effort to increase the museum's visibility in the community and create expansion for our exhibits and programs, the F.A.N. will provide support in advocacy, planning, implementing and facilitation of our many programs, services, fundraisers and other operational matters that directly affect the museum's growth.
