Look Whooo Came to the SSCM!

It’s the Blue Hills Trailside Museum’s Owl Presentation.

We hope you flew by the museum to meet live owls! A teacher from the Blue Hills Trailside Museum was here for a show and tell about these feathered friends.  If you were here, you got to see owls in person while learning a little about them and safely discovering what an owl feels and sounds like. It was a real hoot!

The owl presentation is included with the cost of admission ($3 per person) and is free for our members.

This presentation was brought by Mass Audubon’s Blue Hills Trailside Museum. Located in the Blue Hills Reservation outside of Boston, the Blue Hills Trailside Museum features exhibits on the natural history of the Blue Hills and Massachusetts.

Mass Audubon works to protect the nature of Massachusetts for people and wildlife. Together with more than 100,000 members, they care for 35,000 acres of conservation land; provide school, camp, and other educational programs; and advocate for environmental policies. Each year, their wildlife sanctuaries welcome nearly half a million visitors. To support these important efforts, call 800-AUDUBON (800-283-8266) or visit
